External Solar Window Film

Externally applied solar control window film is one of the most effective solutions for reducing excess heat, glare, and solar energy entering through windows, helping to create a more comfortable and energy-efficient indoor environment. It is particularly well suited to laminated glazing and modern glass systems with specialist coatings, where the installation of traditional internal window films may not be recommended due to the glass’s unique thermal properties.

Applied directly to the exterior surface of glazing, these high-performance films are specifically designed to reject solar energy before it enters the building. By reducing solar heat gain, external solar window films can significantly lower air conditioning costs and improve overall energy efficiency. As the film is applied to the exterior surface of the glass, all edges must be sealed with recommended silicone sealent after the film has been fitted.
